FAA REGISTRATION AND RIP OFF SIGHTS

When I got my Karma I got online to make sure I would exist flying legally and register with the FAA or find out the terms on that. I got a sight that appeared to exist the FAA and read the rules and information technology said I needed to register my drone to be legal. So I went to practice that and they wanted from 45-65 dollars. I then noticed the web address didn't finish in .gov The site too wanted the series numbers on my drone and my personal information. DO Non GET RIPPED OFF BY Simulated SITES PRETENDING TO Be THE FAA!!! The address is FAA.gov and the cost is five dollars for 3 years, series numbers are not asked for, and so if you buy a new drone your numbers are your numbers for the total 3 years. Just basic data on yous home accost and phone number was all that is asked. You lot will receive a series of numbers and letters mixed up and has to be marked on your drone someplace visible or not like within of the battery compartment is fine as long as it'south on it someplace. Navigating to become to online registration was not so like shooting fish in a barrel. I typed in the search engine on their site to go to it and it was nevertheless a little bit confusing. Besides they have registration separate for model aeroplane separately from drones so make sure y'all annals on the correct form. I've been flight without it but glad it'southward done and I didn't spend more than necessary on some rip off site pretending to exist the FAA.
